01.00 sim input maps

In a Nov 30 posting I showed some first steps towards making simulated S4 input maps.

In a Jan 12 posting Colin extended to 70 realizations and showed some map plots - let's call this 01.00v0.

In a Mar 17 posting Victor showed reanalysis results from these 01.00v0 maps.

In this posting I rework 01.00 map generation to make future extension to 01.01 and beyond easier - let's call these 01.00v1.

RELATIVE HITS MAP: This is the 3% "relative hits map" we are assuming for expt definition 01. (It is centered on the BK patch and appropriate for what one might get with small apertures.)

FULL SKY NOISE: This is the 1st realization of white+1/f noise with spectrum appropriate to Science Book config from Victor - see Dec 20 posting. A cutoff at ell<30 is applied to approximate tod filtering in a ground based experiment.

FULL SKY LLCDM: This is lensed-LCDM from alm's provided by Julian. It has been smoothed to appropriate beam and spectrum cutoff for ell<30.

GAUSSIAN DUST: This is Gaussian dust appropriate to level in BK field. It has been smoothed to appropriate beam and spectrum cutoff for ell<30.

GAUSSIAN SYNC: This is Gaussian dust at upper limit level in BK field. It has been smoothed to appropriate beam and spectrum cutoff for ell<30.

OBSERVED NOISE: This is noise from above "blown up" around the edge by dividing by the sqrt of the relative hits map shown above. (There is no beam smoothing applied.)

COMBINED SKY: This is the sum of all the above.

This is the spectrum of the above taken with anafast using the relative hits mask shown above. TT/TE/EE are LCDM dominated so we just see the ell<30 cut and the beam roll-off. For BB we see dust dominated at low ell, transitioning to lensing dominated at mid ell, and to noise dominated at high ell.
